Actor Mohammad Nazim, who is known for the role of Jaggi from the show ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’, won a Star Parivaar Award for being the Favourite Mazedaar Sadasya (Comic Role) last month. Bagging this award, Nazim says it’s no less than a dream come true.
He said:
“I am feeling super happy that I got the award. It’s even more special as I have got this award for the character of Jaggi, which is a really interesting and funny character.”
The award is extra special for him as this is also one of his mother’s dreams.
The actor added:
“I cannot express my happiness because it is a very overwhelming feeling. I would like to say one thing though, every time my mother would ask me after the award ceremony that why didn’t I win anything and now I can tell her I am fulfilling her dream.”
Nazim, who is close to his family, says they were the ones who have been constantly motivating him to perform better.
He further added:
“I would like to give the credit of this award to my family. I would also like to give the credit to Star and my co-actors because without them and their support, I would not have reached this level.”
Talking about his fans, he said:
“There are particularly two girls Neetal and Shreya, who have made a fan page called Team Nazim on social media. Then, of course, there is my nephew, who is my biggest fan. He never misses any of my episodes. Wherever he will be, he always finds a way to watch me on television.”
Nazim has got other awards in the past as well.
Talking about the awards he said:
“It makes me happy that people love me so much. And I just wish that this love continues and I make my fans proud. All I can say today is that if you work hard and if you have faith in God then nothing is impossible!”
