Namit Malhotra’s ambitious epic Ramayana has recorded a significant surge in advance bookings for its US premiere, with sales reportedly jumping by 27% within just 24 hours. According to a post shared by Sacnilk Entertainment, the sudden rise came shortly after the first reactions from the film’s world premiere in Los Angeles.
The encouraging trend has brought renewed attention to the film’s international prospects, with audiences closely tracking its advance booking performance ahead of its theatrical release. The jump in premiere sales also signals growing curiosity around the much-anticipated epic, starring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in collaboration with eight-time Oscar-winning DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, Ramayana is envisioned as a two-part epic. Part 1 will release worldwide on 5 November 2026, followed by Part 2 in Diwali 2027. The films will release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam across India. Ramayana will also release in IMAX, with Sony Pictures distributing the film globally, excluding India, while Dharma Productions will distribute it in the Hindi-speaking market. The songs are released under the T-Series label.
