In a much-deserved moment, Sayani Gupta has won the Best Actress (Web Series) award for her performance in Four More Shots Please! Season 4 at the 14th Indian Cine Film Festival 2026.
The recognition comes for her portrayal of Damini Rizvi Roy, the fierce investigative journalist that she played across all four seasons of the show, and whose arc has often served as its emotional and moral anchor.
This win is even sweet for Sayani as it lands in the same week as her Best Director honour at yet another internationally acclaimed film festival for her directorial debut short film Aasmani, making for a rare and remarkable double celebration.
While one recognises her work in front of the camera, the other applauds her work behind it. Few actors have managed to be honoured for performance and direction within days of each other, and the timing has definitely highlighted just how expansive Sayani’s creative range has become.
Coming as Four More Shots Please took its final bow with its last season, her Best Actress win is a fitting send-off for a character that Sayani has spent six years shaping. It also caps a week that has firmly repositioned her as one of Indian OTT’s most consistent performers and also a genuine multi-hyphenate talent commanding recognition on both sides of the camera.
