Salman Khan has once again spoken out in support of students protesting against the recent paper leak controversy. After backing the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP)’s protest on July 22, the actor has now appealed to activist Sonam Wangchuk to end his hunger strike.
Taking to Instagram, Salman shared a heartfelt message asking Wangchuk to take care of his health. He even offered to send him home-cooked food. At the same time, the actor urged the protesting students to return to their homes, saying that their education and safety should remain the top priority.
In his post, Salman wrote that students should not have to worry about their future or make their parents anxious. He also expressed confidence that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would take strict action against those responsible for the paper leak after the Prime Minister addressed the issue. Salman requested students to trust the process and head back home.
Addressing Sonam Wangchuk directly, Salman wrote, “It’s done, bro. Don’t extend this. Keep the spirit for another day if there is a need, which I doubt, and eat something. If you want, I will send you food from home.”
This is the second time Salman has publicly commented on the issue. On July 22, he had shared a detailed statement supporting students affected by the paper leak. Calling it a “very serious issue,” the Maatrubhumi actor stressed that the protests had remained peaceful and should not be turned into a political matter.
He also demanded that those responsible for the leak be held accountable. Salman further called for a fair, transparent, and merit-based education system so that students do not have to suffer because of corruption or negligence.
With his latest post, Salman has once again extended his support to students while urging everyone to resolve the matter peacefully and responsibly.
