Kushal Tandon is all set to return to the reality television space with Alliance, and his mentor Ekta Kapoor is among his biggest supporters.
The producer recently took to social media to cheer for Kushal as he embarks on this new journey, sharing a heartfelt “Best of luck” message for the actor.
The support comes as no surprise, given the close bond that Kushal shares with Ekta Kapoor. Over the years, the actress-producer has played an important role in his professional journey, with Kushal often referring to her as his mentor and guide. The actor is also set to collaborate with Ekta on two upcoming web shows, making this phase of his career even more special.
Interestingly, Kushal had no plans to return to reality television anytime soon. Having stayed away from the genre for over a decade, Alliance marks a significant comeback for him. However, it was Ekta Kapoor’s advice and encouragement that ultimately convinced him to take the leap.
Before entering the show, Kushal spoke about the reason behind his decision. He said, “First of all, never say never. I had no plans to do a reality show for a very long time and haven’t done one in the last 12 years. But I agreed to do this show because of my mentor and guru, Ekta Kapoor. I am also working on two web shows with her. I have immense faith in her guidance and judgment. She has always wanted the best for me, and I know she will guide me in the right direction.”
With Ekta Kapoor’s support behind him and fans excited to see him back in the reality television space, Kushal’s journey on Alliance is already generating considerable buzz.
