Prime Video has officially announced Teen Kauwe, a new spy thriller that puts Sidhant Gupta front and centre in what promises to be yet another transformative performance.
The announcement, made as part of Prime Video’s upcoming slate reveal, came with a first look at Sidhant in character, and it is already turning heads. His look is sharp, distinct and unlike anything audiences have seen from him before, further cementing his reputation as one of Hindi entertainment’s most versatile actors. Sidhant will be seen sharing screen space with Ronit Roy, Bobby Deol, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Pavail Gulati, Isha Talwar, Chandni Bainz and Faisal Malik.
For those who have followed Sidhant’s career closely, the excitement around Teen Kauwe is hardly surprising. The actor has built a formidable body of work in a remarkably short span, ranging from the brooding, ambitious Jay Khanna in the critically acclaimed period drama Jubilee, to the chilling and calculated Charles Sobhraj in Black Warrant, to embodying the gravitas and statesmanship of independent India’s first honourable Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru in Freedom At Midnight. Each role has demanded a completely different energy, physicality and emotional register, and Sidhant has delivered every time. And Teen Kauwe will be no different. A premise shared on social media reads, “An ex-secret agent, believed to be a mole and thought dead for seven years, must return to find the traitor who framed him, while his own agency is trying to terminate him.”
