In a heartfelt tribute to his legendary grandfather, Shri Amrish Puri, actor and young star Vardhaan Puri has joined the medical camp organized by the Cine and TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA) in collaboration with the Cancer Patients Aids Association (CPAA) and the Rotary Club of Bombay Airport.
The camp, which offers a range of free health check-ups, will be held on Sunday, 1st September, at CINTAA’s old office in Andheri, Mumbai.
Vardhaan expressed his deep gratitude for the opportunity to be part of this noble initiative, reflecting on the emotional significance of the event for his family.
“It’s a privilege to be able to contribute to something that has such a positive impact on people’s lives,” Vardhaan shared. “My grandfather, Shri Amrish Puri, was not only a towering figure in Indian cinema but also a man of great compassion. I believe he would be very happy to see this good deed being done in his memory. Today is an emotional day for our family as we remember him and strive to carry forward his legacy of kindness and service.”
As Vardhaan takes part in this event, he is not only honoring his grandfather’s memory but also embodying the values of empathy and service that Shri Amrish Puri held dear.
“Living this life and having these opportunities is something I am incredibly grateful for,” Vardhaan said. “This camp is more than just a health initiative; it’s a way to give back to the community and continue the legacy of doing good that my Dadu believed in.”
The camp will offer a comprehensive range of free check-ups, including surgical, gynecological, ECG, blood tests, dental, ENT, physician, and eye examinations, along with tobacco counseling.
The initiative aims to provide essential healthcare services to the members of the entertainment industry, ensuring their well-being and promoting a healthier lifestyle.
