Addinath Kothare is one of those actors who are known for their superb performances on big screens, and with his nuanced acting skills, the actor has emerged in very little time as the finest actor in the Bollywood industry.
He made his Bollywood debut in the biographical sports film 83, portraying the role of former cricketer Dilip Vengsarkar, which grabbed a lot of appreciation from the audience. Also recently, his performance in the web show ‘Bajao‘ was praised by all. And as Teachers’ Day is around the corner, Addinath talks about his teachers who have helped him grow in life, and he opens up about being connected with his college teachers and what they mean to him.
When asked about that one person who has inspired and motivated him to grow in his career, he says,
“My father has always been a role model to me and he has always inspired me. He always keeps himself updated; always eager to learn new things. The kind of curiosity he has to learn and the spirit he has are the reason I get inspired by him a lot.”
He continues,
“My father has always told me that don’t wait for anyone when it comes to building your career, do what you feel is right and by doing that things Will automatically fall into place. I always keep in mind the things he says and imply them whenever needed.”
Ask Addinath if he’s still associated with his school or college teachers, and his memories associated with them. He says,
“I have many teachers who I still remember. I had my English teacher and I miss her a lot. Rajesh sir was my tuition teacher, who has unfortunately passed away. My harmonium teacher, Pednekar Sir has also helped me a lot. Every director with whom I have worked to date is also a teacher whom I look up to. My daughter has also taught me a lot of things every day about how to be a better human being.”
