Producer Pragya Kapoor’ Ek Saath Foundation a non-profit organization. Along with Citizen movement Carter Cleanup mark the 100th clean-up event at the iconic Carter Road beach in Mumbai.
The organization has been working tirelessly to keep Mumbai beaches clean and promote eco-friendly practices.
The 100th clean-up event marked the presence of approximately 250-300 volunteers who came together on 10th June. To help clear out the trash accumulated on the popular beach.
Pragya‘s dedicated work has gathered a huge following of environment enthusiasts who not only participate in the clean-up events. But also help raise awareness about the importance of preserving the environment.
Sharing more about this the environmentalist says,
“I’m very passionate about the world that we live in and these beach clean-ups are important to keep the environment and the world a better place for us and the future generations to come. From my first cleanup with Ek Saath and today is the 100th, people of various age groups have been actively a part of this and change is happening slowly but surely. ”
