Starring in Tom Harper’s Heart of Stone are Jamie Dornan, Gal Gadot, and Alia Bhatt. The movie will make its Netflix debut on August 11. Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt commented on his daughter Alia Bhatt’s debut performance in Heart of Stone.
Mahesh stated in a recent interview that he is proud of Alia for working on a project with stars like Jamie Dornan and Gal Gadot. He also remembered a time when he had questioned Alia about what Hollywood had that Bollywood did not. Alia’s response, according to Mahesh Bhatt, was “money.”
Alia plays a villain in Heart of Stone who keeps Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan on their toes. The espionage thriller is scheduled to make its Netflix debut on August 11. Tom Harper’s Heart of Stone movie premiered its first trailer at the Tudum gathering in Brazil.
Mahesh said,
“My heart soars with pride when I see her standing with the who’s who of international players like Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan. To stand there without being pygmied by the idea that it is Hollywood, the young of today don’t feel slighted or lesser in any way when it comes to international talent,” in an interview with Times of India.
He also added,
“I once remember asking her, ‘What is it that they have that we don’t have? And her straight reply was ‘Money’. She said it with great humility. She also said that they have a way of doing things and they are very professional but they have money, otherwise we have it all. I think that confidence is very important for the nation.”
Gal Gadot’s Rachel Stone, who plays a rookie tech on an elite MI6 unit led by lead agent Parker (Jamie Dornan), is the movie’s star, according to Netflix. Producers of Heart of Stone include David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger of Skydance, Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn of Mockingbird, and Gal and Jaron Varsano’s Pilot Wave company. The movie will be available in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and English.
