Kapil Sharma was seen teaching Calm Down singer Rema the famous line from the Shah Rukh Khan movie in a teaser for the upcoming episode. The Kapil Sharma Show will welcome singer Rema as its next guest in an upcoming episode.
Rema is best known for the song Calm Down with Selena Gomez, which has become a viral hit. Sony shared a preview of the upcoming episode on social media this week, showing Rema dancing alongside Kapil and even attempting to teach him a famous Shah Rukh Khan line from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.
The Instagram promo begins by revealing that international singer Rema will be a guest on the show this coming week.
Other guests include Nikita Gandhi, Kabir Bedi, and Pooja Bedi, as well as Indian singers Shankar Mahadevan, Shaan, Sukriti Kakar, Prakriti Kakar, Romy, Shahswat Sachdev, and Nikita. In the teaser, Rema and Kapil Sharma are seen dancing to Calm Down, and Kapil asks Rema,
“How are you?” to which he replies, “I’m good!” Kapil then quips, “Now that I’ve called an English-speaking person, what will I say? (“Bula toh liya English banda, baat kya karu mein”)”
Then, Kapil tries to teach Rema the famous Hindi line from Shah Rukh Khan’s film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge,
“Badey badey shehron mein…(In these large cities),” to which Rema reacts horrified and everyone around them bursts into laughter. “Badey badey shehron mein aisi choti choti baatein hoti rehti he (In these large cities, these little words occur often),”
Rema says to Kapil to end the conversation. Rema can be seen dancing with the rest of the cast to Main Naagin Dance.
Kapil chose a pink shirt and a pair of pants instead of Rema’s all-black attire. Can’t calm down because Rema is here @heisRema #calmdown #thekapilsharmashow, wrote Kapil in the caption of a short video of them dancing to the show’s song Calm Down earlier. The singer’s Rema Calm Down India Tour, which began earlier this month, is currently in progress. Nora Fatehi joined him on stage to dance to her hit song Naach Meri Rani at a recent concert in Mumbai.
