This Mother’s Day, Addinath Kothare shares his admiration for his mother

Addinath Kothare has been ruling the Marathi and Hindi cinema for more than a decade now. Not just that, he made his Bollywood debut in the biographical sports film 83, portraying the role of former cricketer Dilip Vengsarkar, which grabbed a lot of appreciation from the audience. Recently, his performance in the web series Criminal Justice was praised by all, and now the actor is all set to grab the audience’s attention through his acting skills in yet another web series, Bajao, which will be released soon. On the occasion of Mother’s Day, Addinath Kothare opened up about his bond with his mother and the lessons he has learnt from her.

Talking about the bond with his mother, Addinath says,

“My mother is the backbone of my family. We share all the secrets with Dad, but with Mom, it’s like me and my dad both go to her when we need emotional support. When my mom scolds me I feel the most comforted, that’s the most beautiful feeling for me. From childhood itself, when my mother scolds me I feel secure, that my mother is looking out for me.” He also shared the best lessons he has learnt from his mother, says, “My personal skills are very good, I am very good at bringing people together it’s purely because of my mother. It’s my mother’s genes who is absolutely magical in bringing people together. I aspire to be like her every day, the way she brings people together and to have the most genuine, purest and honest soul as she has.”

Addinath spills more beans on how he looks up to his mother and what memories he has with her, he says,

“My father is a filmmaker and producer and there are ups and downs in the life of a filmmaker. There was a very rough patch financially in our life when we were going through very rough times. The way I saw my mother stand by my father and by our family like a rock of Gibraltar. She was like the strength of my father and family and it was so inspiring and amazing. My mother is so amazing that she had made it difficult for me when it comes to judging women in my life because she is the benchmark of how a mother, a wife or a woman should be. That benchmark can’t be matched by anyone.”

He concluded by discussing the values and ethics his family imbibed in him, says,

“My parents never pampered me though I was the only child. They always made me realise the value of everything we have, everything we do for each other. The love and pampering were there but they never spoilt me and they didn’t let me act irresponsibly ever. That’s the values and ethics my family has imbibed in me.”

Meanwhile, Addinath Kothare is busy shooting with his upcoming projects. He will be seen in yet another hit web show Bajao, the poster of the web show is yet not released. He is also busy promoting his show Konkan Diaries which is telecasted on Zee Zest. For more updates stay tuned.
