Sourabh Raaj Jain to make his debut into films with a sci-fi thriller

Sourabh Raaj Jain will be seen in a sci-fi plot film which will be a theatrical release. After a long run with prominent television shows and a few OTT projects to his credit and a recent wrap up on his shoot for an upcoming webshow where he will be seen as a bra-fitter,  Sourabh Raaj Jain is now excited to take a leap onto the big screen.

Speaking about his debut film the actor says,

“I am excited about the role as it’s so different from anything I have done before.  It’s a larger than life character with so many facets.  It’s exciting to be venturing on to a new medium as well because the treatment of the project is very different from anything I have done before.”

Speaking about the plot of the film, Sourabh shares,

“It is a sci-fi film in both the current and pre – Independence times. I found the script very interesting, and mainly the conviction of our writer that made me say yes.  The entire film team is raw but passionate and so it’s exciting to be a part of new energies and creativity”.

The actor who believes that he never wants to say never says that this is definitely not a good bye to television.

“I am loving the experiments but I am still listening to television fiction show scripts also.  I am not looking to enter an ongoing show and it has to be something different from anything I have done before.  For me it will never be the medium that I choose but the work.  Radio became a place where the world heard me, television became a place where I could showcase my acting skills visually and now as I experiment with more mediums, I can never forget my roots, and one’s heart is where home is and for me no matter how many mediums I experiment with, Television will always be home!”
