Power couple Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain are celebrating their second Gudi Padwa after marriage. The duo takes us through some good memories on this special day.
Speaking about how important this day is for Ankita she says,
“For me, this day is very important. Since Vicky walked into my life, we celebrate this auspicious day together year after year. After marriage, this is our second celebration together. We are celebrating this day in our new house in Andheri.”
Recollecting childhood moments Ankita adds,
“I have seen it since I was a child – my mum, my nani, we all meet and a lot of delicacies are prepped. There are rituals, we do the gudi’s pooja. I’m fascinated by all of this. I like putting haldi and kumkum for the festival.”
Ankita also believes that whatever work is started on this auspicious day, you are bound to be successful in it. The duo recently organized a special holi celebration “AnViKiRaasLeela2.0” and the biggest names in the industry such as Ekta Kapoor and more were present. It has been one of the most loved celebrations and also the most talked about.
Ankita Lokhande recently had her first short film titled ‘The Last Coffee’ where the character of Iram garnered her immense love and appreciation. She is now prepping for her upcoming film Swatantra Veer Savarkar.
