In a recent drug bust on a luxury cruise ship, the Narcotics Control Bureau takes Aryan Khan into custody. He is the son of legendary and famous Bollywood actor, Shah Rukh Khan. Since then, SRK fans and many of his colleagues in the Hindi film industry extend their support to the 23-year-old, Aryan Khan.

“It feels like the judicial system is going after a famous kid to prove to the public how ethical they are and don’t discriminate because he is a celebrity’s son. The majority of the children have tried drugs universally. It’s not breaking news for a teenager or a twenty-something to experiment with drugs. This is literally going after him because of who his parents are and using him as a scapegoat for their lack of efficiency such as protecting women from being brutally raped and murdered,” says Somy.

Somy In Her Own Words
She also took to social media to express her thoughts and share her support for Aryan Khan.
“Drugs, similar to prostitution, will never go away which is why both should be decriminalized. This is the epitome of a kid being a kid scenario. No one is a damn saint. I tried pot when I was 15 and then again with Divya Bharti during the shooting of Andolan. No regrets!”
“The judicial system is using Aryan to prove a point as this child suffers for no damn reason. How about the judicial system focus on catching rapists and murderers instead?!
The US has been fighting a war on drugs since 1971 and yet they are easily accessible to anyone who desires to use them.
My heart goes out to Shah Rukh and Gauri and my prayers are with them. Aryan, you have done nothing wrong and justice will be served, kiddo.”
