The Gentleman in the House!

From his first tryst with acting in the hit television show “Kitni Mohabbat Hai”, Karan Kundra has experimented with different roles in dailies, reality shows, movies, and web series over the last twelve years with elan. As awards, recognitions, and adulation flowed in for this very talented and handsome “Punjabi Munda”, his intense Mohabbat with his craft remained constant. In 2020 he charmed his way through Ritwik and Ronobir in Alt Balaji’s web series “Dil Hi Toh Hai” and “It Happened in Calcutta”. He earned praise for his DJ Gujjar act in the internationally acclaimed film “Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare” which streamed on Netflix. With his good looks and charming smile, it’s no surprise that Karan Kundra has had tremendous work in the last 12 years on screen and on many reality shows.

 

In his interviews, he claims that his family has unsuccessfully tried to tame him into a gentleman since he is inherently wild and often walks into controversies. However, his tall claims fell apart while watching him as the perfect Gentleman in the Flipkart App game show “Ladies vs Gentlemen”. Karan passionately expressed comfort with the ladies in his life earning more than him, or pottering in the kitchen alongside them. He admitted honestly with a goofy smile about the stolen moments in elevators and some quick handholds in the park during his growing up years, leaving everyone in splits. At the end of the show, he came across as the gentle giant, the peacemaker among the participants often conceding to the ladies with grace and wit.  

 

He will soon be back with “Dating Aaj Kal” in the Flipkart App. We can’t wait to see Karan as the possessive caring older one filtering out all prospective dates for the ladies not meeting his stringent criteria or as the towering aggressive millennial boss giving a low down to the men on how to respect women. For the very dreamy out there; put your best foot forward and ask him out for a date and be ready to sample his lock down culinary skills dishing out Rajma Chawal and Butter Chicken. Don’t be surprised if he is focused on his car crash videos on YouTube leaving you to admire his stubble, but finally looking up to floor you with an admiring glance through those soulful eyes.

For the uninitiated, Ladies vs Gentlemen is a fun game show on the Flipkart App hosted by the very adorable Genelia and Ritesh Deshmukh where they are seen encouraging the youth to break the binary between pink and blue and to normalise conversations around societal and life issues that we often shy away to discuss.
