Sidharth Malhotra, who is all set for his upcoming movie Jabariya Jodi, has begun the second schedule of his next film – Shershaah. Shershaah is a biopic and Sidharth is playing the role of Captain Vikram Batra.
Sidharth flew to Kashmir and started the shoot as the permission was granted prior to Article 370 being scrapped. Sidharth will complete the Chandigarh and Palampur schedule and then the 40-day schedule in Leh, Ladakh, and Kargil.
The team will shoot the war sequences, the initial days of Captain Batra, his recruitment and his subsequent posting at Kargil.
The co-producer of the movie, Shabir Boxwala said that there is no unrest after Article 370. The places like Kargil, Leh, Ladakh and Jammu are calm from what he got to know from the army officers. They are optimistic that even Srinagar, which is a bit tense, will ease out in some days.
Vishnuvardhan is the director of Shershaah. It is based on Captain Vikram Batra. Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions will produce the film.
Sidharth Malhotra’s next film Jabariya Jodi releases on 9th August, 2019. The film also stars Parineeti Chopra and will see Sid and Pari come together for the second collaboration after Hasee Toh Phasee.
