Abhishek Bachchan And Ileana D’Cruz Roped In For Ajay Devgn’s Film

Ajay Devgn and Abhishek Bachchan first worked together in Rohit Shetty’s debut film, Zameen. The duo were last seen onscreen together in the director’s 2012 comedy Bol Bachchan.

 

 

After almost 7 years, Abhishek and Ajay are all set to collaborate once again. This collaboration will be directed by the creative director of Total Dhamaal, Kookie Gulati.

 

The film will also star Ileana D’Cruz in pivotal role and is backed by Ajay Devgn’s production house.

 

A source close to the development said that the pre-production for the film is already going on. The source reveals:

“It is based on real events that took place between 1990 and 2000 and changed India’s financial fabric. Ajay loved the subject and immediately agreed to back it. Ileana has a very strong role in the film but isn’t paired opposite Abhishek. The team is on the lookout for an actress to be paired with him. The film will go on the floors by the year-end.”

On the work front, Ajay Devgn was last seen in De De Pyaar De and is currently busy with Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior co-starring Saif Ali Khan. Abhishek was part of Manmarziyaan and will soon be seen in Anurag Basu’s next direction. Ileana last featured in Raid opposite Ajay Devgn.
