Taapsee Pannu’s recent Bollywood movie was Game Over and Badla. The actress receives a lot of appreciation for her performance in the same by the audiences and critics as well.
Taapsee Pannu’s next is Mission Mangal with Akshay Kumar, Kirti Kulhari, Sharman Joshi, Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha and Nithya Menon.
In her recent interview, the actress expressed her thoughts about the stereotype of a hero being a gender-centric idea. She explains how the audiences are fed with the idea of the term hero being designated to gender. Also how slowly and steadily she is trying to change that with her movies.
The Badla actress also pointed out how the change won’t come overnight but will require a lot of perseverance and patience for the same.
Besides Mission Mangal, Taapsee has Saand Ki Aankh with Bhumi Pednekar. Saand Ki Aankh releases this October, while Mission Mangal releases on this Independence Day.
Mission Mangal is based on ISRO’s successful attempt at launching a ship to Mars. The trailer of the movie has received much appreciation from all. The movie will be clashing with John Abraham starrer Batla House on 15th August.
Recently we also got to know that Taapsee will treat the audiences of Melbourne, Australia with special screenings of her two films. Indian Film Festival of Melbourne will screen the actress’ two films Badla and Mission Mangal.
