Article 15 To Have A South Remake?

The remake of South movies has become a trend in Bollywood, these movies are receiving a good response as well. These remakes are making huge collections at the box office as well. However, this time the case is reverse. The film in question is Article 15.

 

 

Some makers from the South industry are on a race to grab the rights for Anubhav Sinha’s Article 15. The film had Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead role and had garnered a lot of positive response from the critics.

 

Article 15, is an investigative thriller and touches upon the issue of casteism in the country with the utmost sensitivity and brings in light on the issues of casteism which were either unknown or ignored.

 

The movie is one of the most profitable movies of 2019. Hence, according to some sources, the producers of the film flooded with offers. Info also states that Dhanush, who is superstar in South is keen on remaking the film in Tamil.

 

Abhinav Sinha’s directorial is running well at the box office for a month now and the movie has made a collection of 64 crores till date.

 

Besides Ayushmann, Article 15 also stars Isha Talwar, M Nassar, Manoj Pahwa, Sayani Gupta, Kumud Mishra, and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub. Anubhav Sinha and Zee Studios are the producers of the film.
