Actor-filmmaker Raghava Lawrence, who was all set to direct Akshay Kumar starrer Laxmmi Bomb, the Hindi adaptation of his hit Tamil horror comedy, Kanchana, had opted out of the film after he felt disrespected. But on Saturday the actor- filmmaker Raghava returned to the project after all the issues were sorted.
Raghava Lawrence made the big announcement on Twitter confirming about his re-entry in the movie as a director and thanked Akshay Kumar for the same.
One schedule of the film has already been completed in Mumbai. The next long spell has been slated later this September.
With Raghava’s decision of returning back to the project, we are looking forward to see the movie in Hindi soon. Kanchana is the second entry in the popular franchise that began in 2007 with Muni. Kanchana explores the life of a ghost-fearing man (played by Lawrence) who gets possessed by a vengeful transwoman (Sarathkumar).
The movie also stars Kiara Advani and is slated to release on June 5, 2020.
