Suniel Shetty, who was last seen in A Gentleman got candid about collaborating with Priyadarshan for the third instalment of popular franchise Hera Pheri.
Hera Pheri was directed by Priyadarshan and the film starred Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty and Tabu playing the lead roles.
The sequel for the film released in 2006 and drove the fans crazy with quirky punchlines and impeccable comic timing by the actors. The second part was directed by Neeraj Vora. Since then there have been rumours about the third part of the Hera Pheri franchise but there was no further news about the film, but now the actor has made this revelation.
The actor said:
“Talks are on with Priyadarshan for the third part. It should happen by the end of the year. There is a lot of discussion around it. I am excited for it.”
Suniel Shetty talking about the film said that the audience love and relate to the honesty, simplicity and struggle of the three characters. He also said that he likes Hera Pheri more than the sequel Phir Hera Pheri and even appreciated Priyadarshan’s great writing skills.
Let’s see how things progress and will we be able to see the immaculate trio together back on screen.
