5 Patriotic Movies That You Should Not Miss This August

Anil Sharma’ next venture, starring debutant Utkarsh Sharma and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, brings the patriotism and love of the country to a different level. With amazingly depicted songs and music by Himesh Reshammiya, the movies take us around the country starting from New Delhi to Vrindavan.

Inspired by true events, Gold is the story of India’s journey towards its first gold medal win as an independent nation at the 1948 Olympics in London. The movie released on August 15th and has gained appreciation by critics and audience bringing in the fever of patriotism.

 

2. Satyameva Jayate:

Another patriotic movie that released this Independence Day, Satyameva Jayate shows how John’s character walks into the journey of destroying corruption from the system.

 

3. Swades – We the people:

Picking up one from the classics, the 2004 release Swades showed the character and journey of Mohan Bhargav (Shahrukh Khan) that depicts different shades of emotions. The story is about self-discovery and the movie portrays soul changing scenes beautifully.

 

4. Rang De Basanti:

’Koi bhi desh perfect nhi hota, usse perfect banana padta hai.’’ Another movie from the old collection, this patriotic drama took nationalism to a different level, and created a stir of revolution among the youth of the country.
