The makers of October have set out to create a stir amongst the audience through their innovative and intriguing approach.
They announced the release date of the film through a digital calendar. In case you didn’t see it then, take a look at it now:
The makers were successful in teasing fans with images and posters for days before the trailer was released. The trailer of October starring Varun Dhawan and Banita Sandhu was unveiled before the audience amidst much fanfare.
The trailer launch was given an innovative twist when Varun Dhawan was seen on Twitter Periscope. The video of which was screened live at the venue of the trailer launch building the anticipation for his fans. From fans to industry stalwarts, reactions have been pouring in from one and all praising Shoojit Sircar’s unconventional take on love and the cast.
Shoojit Sircar’s unique story of Dan and Shiuli definitely tugs at your heartstrings and the paramount proof of this is the numbers! The trailer has crossed a whopping 20 million views in 24 hours of its launch.

Produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar, October stars Varun Dhawan and Banita Sandhu. A Rising Sun Films Production, it is directed by Shoojit Sircar. The film is set to release on 13th April 2018.
