Kalki Koechlin and Anurag Kashyap split in 2015. In over 2 years, this is the first time that they have come together for an interview.In this conversation, we get insights into their unique relationship and their understanding of each other as artists and a former couple.
Both Anurag and Kalki held no reserves about answering any kind of question. They were pretty frank with topics pertaining to their professional and personal experiences.
Anurag also revealed that Kalki’s has many talents including charcoal art, juggling, and origami.
When quizzed Anurag if his failed marriages lead him to become a better man, he with a long pause said,
“I don’t think I was a bad man but I have learned so much more. Marriage is a lot of commitment and you have to make an effort to make it work. I have become more understanding, tolerant and I take and give more space. I know that when you are dealing with a whole lot of things outside, you don’t have to bring it home.”
Hearing this, here’s what Kalki giggled and said,
“Shubra is lucky there”
and promptly agreed to what he said by adding,
“Everyone has to learn from all their failed experience in life.”
The beautiful Kalki and Anurag share is quite remarkable as they have set an example by breaking the barriers of how a former couple can hold no grudges and share a wonderful relationship.
