Ali Abbas Zafar: The Kind Of Abuses Salman’s Given Me, I Can’t Share In Public

The trailer of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, directed by ‘Sultan’ director Ali Abbas Zafar, was released today.

We asked Ali Abbas Zafar if he’s under pressure for the film. He said,

“It’s a big franchise. There definitely is a lot of pressure. I had also done ‘Sultan’ with Salman so there’s an added baggage of that as well.”

Talking about the equation this time around with Salman, Ali Abbas Zafar said,

“Equation is still the same. It’s a good relationship. We work together very well. He’s a big superstar and there’s a certain way people like to present him, there’s a certain way people perceive him. I look at him the way people look at him – like the quintessential hero who can be real. He’s not a superman but he can do what we want him to do especially on screen.”

You might be aware that Salman has a nerve problem. We asked Ali how difficult was it for Salman to shoot at high altitudes for the film. He said,

”I would only say the kind of abuses I’ve got from him is such that I can’t share it in public. He keeps telling me that you push me too much. Even in ‘Sultan’ you made me do so much. But somewhere he knows what we’re trying to do with him. When you see those snowboarding sequences, in -23 degrees, you will understand what we did there.”

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in lead roles, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ is scheduled to release on 22nd December.
