Happy Teachers Day: 5 Bollywood teachers we want in our lives

Life teaches us the best lessons, but those lessons become tolerable when we have good teachers throughout our lives – the ones who stand by and support us through thick and thin, and show us the path that helps us reach our goal. Bollywood has also given us such teachers, whom we wish to have as a part of our lives. Which ones? Take a look here:

Amitabh Bachchan from ‘Black’

The one who teaches us what life is, and then lets us live it, that’s exactly the kind of teacher we need.

Aamir Khan in ‘Taare Zameen Par’

The one who doesn’t diss us, rather appreciates us for who we are, and helps us grow, that’s what we want from a teacher like Aamir Khan from ‘Taare Zameen Par’.

Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Chak De! India’

The one with selfless motives, and the inspiration, Shah Rukh Khan as the mentor in ‘Chake De! India’ is who we need in our lives.

And in ‘Mohabbatein’

For the lighter side,

Shahid Kapoor in ‘Paathshala’

Ok I know, but he was super cute and if we had to see this face everyday, we’d never skip classes 😉

Sushmita Sen in ‘Main Hoon Na’

There hasn’t been a hotter teacher in Bollywood who has been across to par the standards set by Sushmita as the chemistry teacher in ‘Main Hoon Na’. TBH, every time we think of her, we can imagine Ms. Chandni in the red saree, romancing Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Tumhe Jo Maine Dekha’.

Mrs. Briganza, Archana Pooran Singh, in ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’

More than a stylish English literature, we think Mrs. Briganza was the teacher of love-o-logy. She was super open about relationships in college and was quite progressive for a 90’s teacher.
