When Shraddha Kapoor Went Undercover

Shraddha Kapoor has been garnering a lot of appreciation for her look in her first biopic Haseena Parkar. Even the teaser of the film has created a new stir of excitement and anticipation for the film.

 

In the film Shraddha will be portraying Haseena from the age of 17 till her late 40’s, from being a teenager to a married young mother to a woman in her 40’s. Apoorva Lakhia, director of the film went back and forth with makeup artist Subhash Shinde, hairstylist Simran Devi, stylist Eka Lakhani and costume designers Harpreet and Ajay for almost a year to bring out the perfect look.

 

Once the look was finalised the director make sure that Shraddha’s look was under wraps. For their entire shooting schedule, the team was not allowed to keep their phones on set. Being extra cautions, Shraddha even travelled to set covering her face in Muslin Cloth. The actress used to do a certain amount of prep from home and would cover her face so that it was not captured by the media or her fans. Even on set the actress would be careful to not get out of the without covering herself and made sure during breaks she would still cover herself with the muslin cloth.

 

Apoorva wanted Shraddha’s look as Haseena Parkar to be a surprise for all and after seeing the kind of response the actress’s looks has been getting it was sure a brilliant idea.

 

Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film stars Shraddha Kapoor, Siddhanth Kapoor and Ankur Bhatia. Produced by Nahid Khan with Swiss entertainment and co-produced by Sameer Antulay and Babu Tyagi the film is set to release on 18th August 2017.
