On a gloomy Saturday evening, when the city was facing a drastic weather change, actor Manoj Bajpayee had the most unexpected encounter on the streets of Mumbai. As the monsoon is just around the corner and the city seems to be facing an erratic weather changes, the fine actor Manoj Bajpayee who wasn’t keeping well for the past few days was known to be heading back home when he met with a minor accident.
According to sources close to the actor, the fatal incident took place when Manoj was driving back home with his manager and on the way he was interrupted by a couple who were on bike. It happened so that, Manoj was driving at a nominal speed since he was sure the roads would be slippery due to monsoons. The couple on bike, seemed to be in a hurry as they speeded up and over took Manoj’s car. In a fraction of just few mins, the couples bike lost balance and they were stranded at the road. Manoj whose car was just behind the fallen bike, swiftly pressed his emergency break therby saving two lives and showcasing high presence of mind in the most unexpected occasion.
The commotion then led to a group of people gathering around the spot who then called for the ambulance and took them to the doctor. One hears that in all this the actor has been safe from any injuries and is for now doing absolutely well.
Talking about it, the talented actor and also a responsible citizen Manoj said:
“It was a very bizzare incident and I am just glad that nobody was injured so badly. I was sick for few days, so had gone to the doctor. As my driver wasn’t there, I had opted to drive myself. These days it is a very important to make sure one drives safely, for yourself as well as people around you. I am completely fine and I would like to request everyone this monsoon season please be safe and take care.”
