Go behind the scenes with the making of "Yaari Yaari" from Purani Jeans

A lively, energetic behind-the-scenes video for the ‘Purani Jeans’ friendship anthem, ‘Yaari Yaari’ has been released. Showing the actors matching steps in the freezing cold, the video showcases the cast of the film having a blast on location and the enviable companionship of the Kasuali Cowboys. It shows the director of choreography Firoz Khan teaching the cast a few dance routines for the song. Take a look!

Aditya Seal says,

“There was a river flowing. We had little water collected at the side, so we were supposed to sit in that water. We had five beers, and I was supposed to pull out a beer. We said, you know what guys, we’ll chug it down. The beer was warm so we decided that we’ll put the bottle in the water. Believe me, in like a minute and a half it was freezing cold”.

Actor Raghav Raj Kakker comments,

“We’re supposed to roll up our pants, and stand in there and actually do choreographed steps. It took us a while to only stand, get our balance there, let alone doing the steps”.

The song ‘Yaari Yaari’ revolves around the wonderful memories and the strong bond of friendship shared by the characters in the film. It is an uplifting track, which reminds of old friendships and lost friends. Purani Jeans is produced by Eros International and NextGen Films, and is directed by Tanushri Chattrji Bassu. The movie stars Tanuj Virwani, Aditya Seal and Izabelle Leite. Purani Jeans revolves around the rekindling of old bonds between a young boy and his hometown folks. It is slated to release on 2nd May 2014.
