South Korean band CATCH THE YOUNG has released their new single album, PARANOIA, just ahead of their first tour of the UK and Europe this fall. The release marks a bold new direction for the K-rock group, who are moving beyond their pop-alternative roots toward a more anthemic rock sound.
PARANOIA: A New Style of Hard Rock
PARANOIA blends several strains of rock into CATCH THE YOUNG’s own sound, creating what the band describes as a new style of hard rock. All five members, Sani, Kihoon, Namhyun, Junyong, and Jungmo, are credited as composers. Namhyun and Kihoon co-wrote the lyrics, and Jungmo designed the single’s cover art.
Lyrically, the song is about overcoming fear and doubt, believing in yourself, and stepping into a new world. It captures the courage to keep moving forward, push past your limits, and reach for the light.
Namhyun says the track is one he can’t wait to bring to the stage.
“PARANOIA is a bold, energetic track. Thinking about performing it with all of our fans at the shows already gets my heart racing,” he shared. “I really want to play it live as soon as possible, so please listen to PARANOIA, and I hope you give it lots of love.”
CATCH THE YOUNG 2026 Europe Tour: IGNITE EVOLVE
Not long after the single’s release, the band will launch CATCH THE YOUNG 2026 EUROPE TOUR IGNITE EVOLVE. The tour begins in November in partnership with the European live performance platform FRONTROW, and it gives European audiences their first chance to hear PARANOIA live. Sani says the trip is a milestone for the group.
“PARANOIA is finally out in the world, and we wish you show it a lot of love,” he said. “I’m also really looking forward to the UK and Europe tour. There’s the curiosity of going somewhere we haven’t been, and especially the thought of going to the UK, the home of band music, makes it even more exciting. I hope we can put on our best shows together with our fans in Europe as well.”

CATCH THE YOUNG is a South Korean alternative pop-rock band under Evermore Entertainment. They debuted on November 1, 2023, with their first mini album, Catch The Young: Fragments of Youth. The lineup is Sani, Kihoon, Namhyun, Junyong, and Jungmo.
The band calls its genre “youth pop-rock,” built around the theme of youth and their strengths in harmony, multi-vocal arrangements, and live performance. In less than a year after debuting, they played some of Korea’s biggest festivals, including the Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival and Jeonju Ultimate Music Festival in 2024. They returned to both in 2025. As a next-generation K-rock band, they plan to expand globally through new music and performances in and out of Korea.
