The melodic house producer’s latest release via Indo Warehouse reworks Indian classical influences into his most introspective track yet.

New Delhi producer Blu Attic has released his latest single, “Out of Reach,” out now via New York-based label and collective Indo Warehouse. The track marks a notable shift for the artist, pushing his signature blend of Indian classical influence and melodic house into darker, more emotionally charged territory.

“Out of Reach” pairs driving, tech house-inflected rhythms with richly melodic songwriting and an unusually somber harmonic palette, resulting in a record that works as much for late-night dancefloors as it does for quiet, reflective listening. Thematically, the track centers on loss and disorientation — the experience of watching someone important walk away and being left to make sense of what remains.

Musically, the single draws on a classical Indian composition, which Blu Attic reworks through his own contemporary electronic lens. It’s an approach that has increasingly come to define his catalogue: weaving Indian musical traditions into dance music without leaning on the genre’s more obvious tropes, letting those influences surface organically rather than as ornamentation.

“Out of Reach is the closest I’ve come to making music that truly sounds like me,” Blu Attic said of the release. “For a long time I’ve been trying to move away from the pop sounding chord progressions and overused clichés that are so common in dance music, and instead create something that feels genuinely original. This record is my attempt at doing exactly that. Every musical decision, from the harmony to the atmosphere, was made to create a sound that feels deeply personal and unmistakably my own.”

With “Out of Reach,” Blu Attic continues to sharpen a sound built at the intersection of Indian musical heritage, darker production textures and emotional songwriting — less concerned with fitting a genre than with carving out something distinctly his own.

The producer has already built a substantial footprint in the electronic music space, with over 3.4 million Spotify streams and 524,000 Apple Music plays to date. His music has earned support from Jody Wisternoff, Above & Beyond and Martin Garrix, along with airplay on BBC Radio 1 and SiriusXM. He has previously released on Anjunadeep and Indo Warehouse, and his live résumé includes sets at Terra Solis Dubai and One Music Festival. He’s set to perform at Anjunadeep Open Air Sri Lanka and Amsterdam Dance Event 2026 later this year.

“Out of Reach” is available now on all streaming platforms.
