Maz Bonafide’s “Dil Majboor” is here — and it may well be his most commanding release yet. One of the UK’s most established South Asian artists, Maz Bonafide has joined forces with celebrated Indian music producer Yeah Proof for a cross-border collaboration that fuses the best of UK and Indian talent into one irresistibly catchy, emotionally charged single.

A Track Born From Emotion and Craft

Written and composed entirely by Maz Bonafide himself, “Dil Majboor” is a testament to his reputation as one of the finest Punjabi songwriters of the modern era. The track blends heartfelt lyricism with a polished, commercial sound — a balance Maz has consistently struck throughout his career. The infectious melody sits atop Yeah Proof’s immaculate production, creating a record that feels both deeply personal and instantly accessible.

“Dil Majboor” is already being tipped as a potential smash hit — and with this level of production and songwriting behind it, it is easy to hear why.

The music video elevates the release further. Filmed at Mayfair Grand — Maz Bonafide’s own luxury wedding venue — the visuals deliver an elegant, cinematic backdrop that perfectly complements the song’s emotional tone. Starring the stunning Sasha Vadher, the video brings genuine charm and storytelling depth to the release, making it as compelling to watch as it is to hear.

Maz Bonafide: A Proven Force in Global Asian Music

Maz Bonafide is no stranger to viral, record-breaking success. He is the creative force behind “Desi Birthday Anthem” — a cultural phenomenon that has accumulated over 5 billion views on TikTok, cementing his place as one of the most impactful UK Asian music artists of his generation. Yeah Proof: India’s Most In-Demand Producer

On the production side, Yeah Proof brings serious credentials to the table. Already recognised as one of India’s most sought-after producers, he has crafted hit records for major artists including Karan Aujla. His most high-profile recent credit is the production of “Tauba Tauba” — featured in the Bollywood blockbuster Bad Newz, starring Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri. The track became one of the biggest Bollywood songs of recent years, proving that Yeah Proof consistently operates at the highest level of the industry.

A New Benchmark for Cross-Border Punjabi Music

Together, Maz Bonafide and Yeah Proof represent something genuinely exciting for the global South Asian music scene. Their collaboration on “Dil Majboor” is not merely a meeting of two talented artists — it is a statement about the growing creative dialogue between UK-based Asian artists and their counterparts on the subcontinent. As Punjabi music continues its global ascent, collaborations like this one are setting a new standard for what cross-border artistry can look and sound like.
