The makers of Chand Mera Dil have released their second single, “Aitbaar,” following the strong response to the film’s title track. The song emerges as a poignant heartbreak anthem, capturing the delicate emotional space where love still lingers but trust begins to unravel.

Featuring Ananya Panday and Lakshya, the visuals bring alive the quiet tension and vulnerability of a relationship at a turning point. Their performances mirror the emotional depth of the track, highlighting both tenderness and inner conflict.

“Aitbaar” is elevated by the soulful voice of Faheem Abdullah, with music composed by the celebrated duo Sachin-Jigar and lyrics penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The composition leans into a minimal yet evocative arrangement, allowing the raw emotion of the lyrics and vocals to take center stage.

Sharing their vision, Sachin-Jigar said the goal was to craft something “intense yet intimate,” reflecting the slow emotional drift between two people. They emphasized the simplicity of the melody, designed to let the feelings resonate deeply, with Faheem’s voice adding a layer of aching authenticity.

Faheem Abdullah described the track as coming from “an extremely honest and vulnerable emotional space,” noting that it demanded a deeper intensity compared to the title track. He explained that the song embodies the feeling of holding on while sensing everything slipping away—an emotion he sought to capture in every line.

Director Vivek Soni called “Aitbaar” one of the film’s most emotionally significant moments, highlighting how it captures what often goes unsaid when relationships begin to change. He aimed to create a sense of intimacy where silence and subtle expressions carry as much weight as words.

With “Aitbaar,” Chand Mera Dil continues to build anticipation for its music album, promising a soundtrack that explores the many shades of love—from its gentle beginnings to its most fragile phases. Backed by Dharma Productions and produced by Karan Johar along with Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Somen Mishra, and Marijke deSouza, the film is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on May 22, 2026.
