Reality tv star Baseer Ali is ruling the Bigg Boss 19 house, and netizens have been loving his performance so far this season. Coming from the reality television world, Ali has amassed a huge fanbase, and his fans have been criticizing the Bigg Boss makers for setting a negative narrative against him through editing of the episodes, and for sidelining him from episodes as well.
In a recent episode, during a fight between Ali and another contestant Pranit More, some netizens took to social media to share a clip where it looked as if Ali was called More “ugly” during the altercation, when More called him a “sasta Angrez”. However, viewers were quick to debunk the edited clip and show the entire conversation, as More misunderstood that Ali called him ‘ugly’ when he did not, and Ali had cleared it up immediately.
Ali’s fans have been criticizing the makers for not only editing episodes and clips to paint Ali in a bad light, but for removing fun moments between him and his friends, most notably Farrhana Bhatt, to make him look negative and only portrayed as a “gamer” and not a friend.
Viewers have been appreciating Ali’s leadership and strategy in the house, as well as his humanity even with the people that he is not friends with in the house. Even those whom he has fought with in the house have claimed that he fights on a front foot and doesn’t speak ill of people behind their backs, which fans noted during their trend.
In a time of edited clips and potential bias against certain players, the Bigg Boss 19 season is becoming increasingly competitive and interesting!
