Ankit Siwach has been making waves in the television and OTT industries in India, and recently attended the New York Indian Film Festival 2025 for the premiere of his short film ‘Madam Driver’ in June.

‘Madam Driver’ is a short though-provoking featurette spotlighting an unconventional female narrative, and Siwach shares how the story, being a relatable slice of life drama, was one that immediately spoke to him. He speaks with our host about who his character is, how they shot the film (which included shooting on an Iphone!) and the differences between shooting for television and short films/web series’.

Siwach’s upcoming work includes ‘120 Bahadur’, a war drama based on heroic 1962 Battle of Rezang La, set to release in November 2025, in which Siwach plays a crucial work. He will also be seen in ‘Barf’, an independent, introspective film inspired by Gulzar’s Ijaazat — the film delves into themes of memory, longing, and identity, offering Ankit a canvas for an emotionally rich performance.
