Actor Imran Nazir Khan, known for his impactful roles in hit television shows like Main Hoon Aparajita and Maddam Sir, has come forward with shocking revelations about his recent stint on the upcoming reality show Real Man Unleashed, set to premiere on a major OTT platform.
In a bold move, Imran shared his harrowing experience on the show, shedding light on the dark underbelly of reality TV. According to Imran, he was asked to “compromise” by the show’s producer if he wanted to win — a euphemism often used in the industry to denote inappropriate propositions.
“On the very first night after we were brought to the hotel, the producer called me to his room and said, ‘If you want to win, you’ll have to compromise.’ I was shocked and strictly refused,” Imran shared.
Despite facing continuous pressure and threats throughout the show, Imran says he stayed true to his values, excelling in tasks and earning appreciation from audiences and even celebrities like Sunny Leone and Sahil Khan. He recalls being physically injured during tasks but still making it to the finale.
However, the ordeal didn’t end there.
“A day before the finale, he made the same offer again. I refused. On the day of the finale, some ex-contestants told me he was pressuring them to vote against me. When they tried to talk to me, he interrupted and threatened them. He even said their footage would be cut if they didn’t support him,” Imran revealed.
He added that during the finale shoot, Sunny Leone appreciated his journey and grit, but the producer ensured he was removed from the final cut.
When Imran confronted him, the producer allegedly replied,
“This is my show. I’ve invested money. I can do whatever I want. I can make anyone win.”
What’s more alarming is the extent of the threats Imran says he’s received since:
“He told me, ‘You won’t survive in Mumbai. I’ll get your social media deleted. Talk to the media — no one will post against me.’ I’ve been receiving threatening calls ever since, telling me to delete my posts or face serious consequences.”
He also revealed that several team members quit the show just a day before the finale after discovering the producer’s biased and unprofessional behavior, including leaking confidential show information to contestants close to him.
Despite the mental harassment, Imran Nazir Khan remains determined to stand up for the truth.
“I didn’t have my phone during the show, so I couldn’t act in the moment. But now, that moment has passed. Still, I know I stayed true to my values—I did nothing wrong. And no matter what, I won’t let fear or power silence me.”
