Somy Ali has always been someone who has spoken her mind and the recent choice of Donald Trump has not gone down too well with her neither has his decision of only acknowledging two genders.
Somy has no qualms in saying,
“I’m extremely saddened and shocked that in spite of existing in 2025 we don’t have equal rights for our LGBTQ brothers and sisters. As for his winning, it truly was not even conceivable to me. I still can’t believe that we have a felon and an inmate as our president. This is precisely why I implemented saving their lives within my NGO at its inception. If we elect a felon, a man who cheats repeatedly on his wife even when she was pregnant with their son and to date, spends time with the late child rapist Epstein who raped 14 and 15 year olds girls and invited Trump to indulge.”
She went on to say,
“We have essentially elected a criminal where those who were hurt during the January 6th incident to date haven’t received justice and the perpetrators roam around Scot free. This is what our majority rooted for and many are suffering today due to this criminal. Four of my friends have left the country. Johnny Depp has been living in France for a long time. Richard Gere just announced that he’s leaving the United States as well.”
