Richa Chadha plays Lajjo in the new Sanjay Leela Bhansali series ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’ that released on May 1st worldwide on Netflix. In a lengthy Instagram post, Chadha explained to fans and viewers why she chose to do the role of Lajjo, even though it was a short one.
On Instagram, Richa penned a long note, and paired it with some of her screen test photos for the series.
Fans are in awe of Richa Chadha’s performance in ‘Heermaandi’, and hope that they can see her back on screen soon. ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’ follows the story of the courtesans of Heeramandi in Lahore during the pre-Independence movement.
