Lee Seung-hyeop, who ‘jumped up on Seon-jae’, perfectly recreates the emotions of those times ‘laughter’

In the latest episode of the tvN Monday-Tuesday dramaSeonjae and Jump,” Lee Seung-hyeop, portraying the character Baek In-hyeok, stole the scene with his energetic performance. Baek In-hyeok, a guitarist in the Jagam High School band and close friend of Ryu Seon-jae (played by Byun Woo-seok), is depicted as someone who tries to mentor Seon-jae in various aspects of life, despite his own comedic shortcomings. Their dynamic is reminiscent of the classic duo “Dumb and Dumber,” with both characters navigating through life with a blend of humor and sincerity.

In the 5th episode, In-hyeok’s transformation before a performance takes center stage. Despite attempting to give Seon-jae advice on avoiding soliciting customers, he hilariously ends up being the one mistaken for a solicitor, eliciting laughter from viewers. Lee Seung-hyeop fully embodies the essence of the time period, sporting exaggerated clothing such as Boeing sunglasses, a beanie, and a faux leather jacket, transporting audiences back to the era of 2008.

Moreover, In-hyeok’s pivotal role in Seon-jae’s debut performance with Eclipse adds another layer of intrigue to the storyline. When the original vocalist is unable to perform, Seon-jae steps in as a substitute, with In-hyeok playing a crucial part in this development.
