When a film’s story is strong, it cannot be held back! Such is the case with Dhak Dhak. Even though the film had a short campaign with a limited release in theatres, now, with good word of mouth and a strong storyline, the screens and the number of cities have increased.
Sharing more information on this, Sanjana Sanghi who received resounding appreciation for her portrayal of Manjari in the film reveals,
“From only being Mumbai & Delhi with limited screens on the Friday of release, due to positive word of mouth, great reviews & the audience’s response to the film, the shows were then increased to 11 cities for an extended run. Such is the true power of honest content, that may be underrated at the time of release and not get a chance to be promoted at a wide scale.”
The story of the film revolves around 4 Ordinary women who embark on an extraordinary biking trip from Delhi to Khardung La and how this trip changes their destines forever. Starring Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza, Sanjana Sanghi, and Fatima Sana Shaikh, the film is successfully running in theatres now!
