Akshay Anand opens up about being part of Ek Tu Hi Hai

Actor Akshay Anand, who recently did a music video directed by Nishank Swami titled Ek Tu Hi Hai, is thrilled with the way the video has performed. Produced by Bhushan Kumar & T Series, the music video has crossed 10 million views on YouTube.

 

 

“I am filled with immense gratitude. Today, I want to express my sincere appreciation for the incredible milestone we have achieved together – 10 million views on my debut song,” says Akshay.

The actor comes from a business background and it was only in his late teens did he realize that he wants to enter acting.

“I’m from a business family and my father started from scratch!  I have a degree in Bachelor of mass communication (BMM). From childhood itself, I wanted to be an international cricketer and played state matches from Jamtha (VCA) Nagpur. But I quit playing because of my injury,” he says.

He adds,

“I was 17 when I came out from the theatre after watching Rockstar and I was mesmerized by the RK performance. Then I decided to enter this business for sure and now I’m on my way and not looking back.”

Talking about the process of entering the industry, he says,

“On July 11th, 2015, I arrived in the city of dreams Mumbai and ironically my first debut song was released on (11th July 2023)! It’s been a long journey with a lot of dedication and hard work but it’s worth it.”

Meanwhile, he loved working with director Nishank Swami. He says,

“He’s the best, He’s a vision no one can come close to! I thank him every day for believing in me for this role and want to work with him on future projects.”

Talking about his future plans, he says,

“I always wanted to act on screen as a hero in the Indian film industry as well as in Hollywood! I’m working hard on my craft to be an even better actor. Hopefully, in future, I’ll deliver more standout performances.”
