Popular singer and music composer Raahul Jatin recently collaborated with Kumar Sanu’s daughter Shannon K, for the song “Chand Mere Channa” which is currently receiving a lot of love from fans and audience! The duo seem to be elated with the response. Talking about the storyline of the romantic number, Raahul says, “The idea was very simple, There are two people who love eachother but for some reason cannot be together. The story revolves around that and then the boy misses the girl and he just leaves to meet the girl he loves. We focused on having good visuals and on making the work presentable”.
The singers have collaborated for the first time and Shannon instantly started admiring Raahul’s working style. Shannon revealed that she faced difficulty in understanding Hindi as she was singing in 90’s Bollywood style for the first time but Raahul helped her in the process.
Shannon praised the singer and said, “Raahul is a great person and I love the fact that he gave me the freedom to sing how I wanted. This was my first time singing a 90’s style song in Hindi. So again the whole Hindi barrier and understanding the music and everything was difficult because I come from the West so I had a little bit of that touch but he understood and liked it and it’s all about understanding. He gave me the space to be myself and not sing in a certain way or certain artist”. Clearly the singer is in awe of Raahul and also declared that she would love to have another collaboration soon.
Raahul shared about his upcoming project and revealed that he will be seen next in his father Jatin Pandit’s song. He will also be releasing songs in English and Punjabi language in his upcoming projects.
