Megastar Akshay Kumar has officially announced the release date for his eagerly awaited film, ‘Oh My God 2’ (OMG 2), set to hit cinemas on August 11, 2023. Directed by Amit Rai, the film co-stars Pankaj Tripathi, Yami Gautam, Arun Govil and Aamir Naik.
The actor recently shared a new poster of the film, revealing his intriguing avatar as Lord Shiva. The poster only fuelled excitement and intrigue among fans and media, who are eagerly anticipating this unique portrayal.
The film’s shoot commenced in October 2021 in Madhya Pradesh. Akshay Kumar had shared the first-look posters of the film at that time, asking for blessings and wishes for their “honest and humble attempt to reflect on an important social issue”.
OMG 2 promises to bring a unique blend of entertainment and social messaging, much like the first film. Fans of ‘Oh My God’, which was a runaway hit in 2012, have eagerly been awaiting news of the sequel, which is set to make its own mark. The Akshay Kumar-Paresh Rawal starrer was a huge box office success, attaining cult status.
