The world of Lashkaraa has finally opened its doors to India and the brand has hit the ramp at the Bombay Times Fashion Week 2022 with its first ever bridal collection – Garden of Serenity.
Inspired by the mesmerising lives of butterflies and mother nature, Lashkaara’s collection is straight out of a fairytale, a treat for brides and bridesmaids. Successfully capturing the true essence of Indian traditional fashion while skillfully embodying the spirit of change, the galvanising silhouettes testify to the poetry existing in the nature around us.
The delicate intertwining of petals, complemented by butterflies, is brought to life with exquisite handwork and unique draping. The collection has a royal appeal as velvets in pretty pastel hues take centre stage here, beautifully complemented with fine organza, georgettes, and more.
“The Bombay Times Fashion Week is a huge platform. It is the perfect opportunity and place to unveil our brand in India. We are excited, but equally nervous. This is the first time we are foraying into heavily embellished outfits, and the aim is to set high standards,” shares Sumeer, the founder of Lashkara.
