It is safe to say that the friendship between Aly Goni and Rahul Vaidya will go down in the history of Bigg Boss. Here is a story of two people, from totally diverse backgrounds, forming a bond of true friendship in a show that is rife with controversies and discord. The two hit it off almost instantly when Aly entered the show the first time and have been thick since then.
All contestants in the Bigg Boss house form allies in order to get ahead in the game, but not these two. While Rahul has always supported Aly, last week we saw Aly literally turning tables in order to make sure that Rahul becomes the captain. In fact, when Abhinav Shukla asked him to lend him his support for the captaincy task, he made it very clear that it will always be Rahul and, of course, Jasmin for him. He even tried to help out in the task despite being out, for which he even got punished.
It is said that a person’s worth is judged by his friends and Aly and Rahul are the only two people who have formed this special bond. There is no other contestant who has been able to become such good friends with anyone in the show. To the extent that when Aly left the house before the finale, Rahul confessed to not having anyone to share his feelings with.
And how can we forget that in a recent Christmas task, Ali was given a ring to give to someone he wants to have a lifelong relationship with, and he gave it to Rahul!
The hug that they shared when Rahul re-entered the house was legendary! This is what love between brothers is made up of, Right? Here’s wishing that we see much more of these two in the house!
