When asked how he spent time during the lockdown, here’s what Aashish had to say, “It was filled with mixed emotions, I was restless and yet wanted to resume work. During the lockdown, I started baking and made so many dishes on my own. It’s really fun learning about so many things. After all, I am an actor so I’ve been doing some acting and workout workshops online. I believe in preparing myself as an actor so that I’m ready when an opportunity comes knocking and can nail it.”
Your social media handle has some brilliant paintings, do you have a plan to come up with your own gallery one day?
“Yes, during lockdown I have done 15 canvas paintings. I am still learning, and recently, I have given it a lot of time. All my restlessness and negativity have been vented out through my paintings. Creating something different is always a good feeling. Putting colors to life on a canvas, for example. A lot of times we may fail and there is no harm in failing. There is no competition in this work. Initially, I started gifting it to people. Recently, I received an order of a painting from the UK and I am so happy. I am also launching a specially dedicated social media handle for my paintings and naming it Hanging Art.”
