Tiger Shroff, the actor who been wowing us with his dance and looks, completes 6 years in Bollywood this year. He made his debut in Heropanti (2014) and now – as per reports – he is all set to star in the second installment of the film – Heropanti 2.
If these reports are true, then Tiger Shroff will commence work on Heropanti 2 after he completes Baaghi 3.
A report on an entertainment portal read,
”NGE had been planning to make Heropanti a franchise for the last one year and they have finally found the perfect script that seamlessly fits into the mould of the actioner. Heropanti 2 will also have Tiger playing the lead role, reprising his character from the original which also happened to be his Bollywood debut.”
Talking about Heropanti 2, a source close to the venture says,
“Yes Tiger has been locked for the second instalment of Heropanti. Currently, Tiger is working on Baaghi 3 and will commence work on this after it.”
Ask the source for more details and they add,
“The first was directed by Sabbir Khan, but Heropanti 2 will be directed by Ahmed Khan, and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.”
Further talking about the film, the source continues,
“Given that the first film featured some high octane stunts, be rest assured the second will take things to the next level.”
Currently, an official announcement is awaited. Industry buzz states that once the script and story is locked, the makers will formally announce the venture.
Heropanti marked the Bollywood debut of Kriti Sanon and Tiger Shroff. Directed by Sabbir Khan.
The film was a remake of the Telugu film Parugu starring Allu Arjun, Sheela and Prakash Raj.
The Hindi version saw Raj playing the same role.
On the work front, Tiger Shroff is currently awaiting the release of Baaghi 3 co-starring Shraddha Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh and Ankita Lokhande.
The actor will also feature in the Bollywood remake of Rambo. But, as per the reports, Tiger’s Rambo remake has been pushed ahead due to Sajid Nadiadwala’s another film.
