Saif Ali Khan has been having a blast since the start of the new decade. The actor, who is still basking in the success of his last release Tahnaji: The Unsung Hero, is currently busy promoting his next. The actor will soon be seen in his home production Jawaani Jaaneman co-starring Alaia Furniturewalla. The film releases this Friday, January 31, 2020.
While we are excited to see him in theatres (again) soon, Saif Ali Khan opened up about his upcoming projects.
Recently, news started doing the rounds of Saif Ali Khan featuring in a film alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday. The project is said to be a production by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment. While the plot and character details have been kept under wraps, Saif in a recent interview revealed that the film is titled Lafdebaaz.
He also said that he is playing the role of Ananya’s father. He added that his character is a dysfunctional, wild, slightly crazy father and that is what makes it quite interesting.
Besides Lafdebaaz, Khan will also be seen sharing screen space with Chaturvedi in Yash Raj Film’s Bunty Aur Babli 2. This film will see Saif reuniting with Rani Mukerji and Sharvari Wagh opposite Siddhant.
Saif also confirmed that he is looking forward to featuring in the Hindi remake of Vikram Vedha.
He also said that his pet project – Bhoot Police, has been delayed as he wants to do it after a few of his films worked at the box office and the film can like it should be made. He continued saying it’s an entertaining film and hopefully it will go on floors by the end of the year.
When asked about being part of the Go Goa Gone sequel Saif said he will feature in it depending on whether he likes the role he is offered or if he is even offered a role in it.
