20 Years Of Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai: Let’s Have A Look At The Melodious Songs From The Film

Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai is one of the first films I watched when I was a kid and I still can’t get over this film.

The film starred debutants Hrithik Roshan as Rohit and Amisha Patel as Sonia. It was written and directed by Rakesh Roshan. Even after twenty years, this film is evergreen and as fresh as a flower to us. I did watch this film thrice and if you ask me why? I would say, Na tum jaano, na hum. But twenty years later, I revisited the film and there were certain things that one just can’t miss.

There are many scenes in the film like the fun times with friends, love, pain and a breakpoint where Rohit dies. Apart from these scenes, the film has some amazing music that we all still listen too.

The song comes in the film when Sonia sees Raj Chopra – who looks exactly like Rohit – for the first time. The theme of the song is dance and it has an amazing hook step too.

Na Tum Jano Na Hum

The song is sung by Lucky Ali & Ramya, its music is directed by Rajesh Roshan with lyrics by Ibrahim Ashq. The mood of the song is joy, contentment, pleasure. The song comes in the film where Raj is in love with Sonia and he imagines her presence everywhere. The theme of the song is romantic as Raj expresses his love for Sonia in it.

Chand Sitare

The song is sung by Babul Supriyo, its music is directed by Rajesh Roshan with lyrics by Ibrahim Ashq. The mood of the song is love, longing as it is this song that gives way to the climax of the film were Raj showcase himself as Rohit to catch his killers.
